"Swollen Bud Awards are announced whenever exceptional fan fiction
comes to the attention of the Swollen Buds Committee.
Stories do not compete with each other for recognition,
but against a standard of writing excellence.
Accordingly, awards may be presented to more than one story in a category
or not presented in every category every time."
